Locals are loyal to this all-purpose neighborhood
cafe that caters to big appetites all day long. Crest Cafe is one of
San Diego's most perfect neighborhood eateries. Opened in 1982 when
Hillcrest still looked a little shabby and there wasn't a Starbucks
in sight, Crest Cafe holds its own against sleeker competition that
moved into the neighborhood in the '90s.
